http://12oclockboys.com/ Documentary about Dirt Bikes in Baltimore

    Saw this on Jalopnik today.

    http://12oclockboys.com/

    SYNOPSIS

The 12 O’CLOCK BOYS are a notorious urban dirt bike pack in Baltimore — popping wheelies and weaving at excessive speeds through traffic, the group impressively evades the hamstrung police. In Lotfy Nathan’s wild, dynamic documentary (three years in the making), their stunning antics are envisioned through the eyes of young adolescent Pug – a bright kid from the Westside obsessed with the riders and willing to do anything to join their ranks. Premiering to critical acclaim at the SXSW and Hot Docs Film Festivals (where Nathan won the HBO Emerging Artist Award), 12 O’CLOCK BOYS provides a compelling and intimate personal story of a young boy and his dangerous, thrilling dream.

On one hand I'm exactly that kind of dummy that gives these jokers one more view.
On the other, I think it's a bad idea to publicize this sort of jackassery.

Oh my goodness, not another gang of squids...Why is this getting so much attention? "Gritty, Captivating, Exhilarating?" Are you fucking kidding me? This gang of dumbass squids do nothing but cause trouble for the town, harass police, run drugs (from what I hear about them), and whatever other shit they can cause. Then they get this little peewee who is what, 13 years old based on his "I'm a decade and a couple of years old. IMMA MAN!" LOL! His mom ought to smack him upside his head a couple of times and kick his ass to high heaven.

I hate, hate, hate stupid behavior like this. The fact that people are obsessed with them is even worse. Bunch of idiots who look like they will never amount to anything in their lives.

hahaha...oh hooligan riding...I've done it...it sure was fun ripping around worcester at night at the summer nationals a few years ago with a 2-smokin' 125 and not having the police say anything!

    but who cares?

this is just a film director trying to make money...what's one of the best way to do? make a movie on something that winds people up and charges up their emotions (whether it be happy or angry)

whether you watch the video, support them, hate them, call the cops on them, crap like this will always exist

I laughed my ass off at adults getting pissy about the "fast and furious" generation street racing..... yeah, because in the 70s, every tard with a Camaro didn't do a burnout at every stoplight on bias ply tires spewing out leaded fuel fumes.

    people being idiots isn't new

It's all fun and games until you end up on the pavement without health insurance.

Something tells me these assholes have never ever worried about health insurance. Not once.

Unfortunately emergency rooms are required to take everyone.

After watching the video, I would probably watch the whole thing. Much like the FnF series, it's probably good for a few laughs and some entertainment.

Too bad I'm a dude with a job and bikes that I've actually paid for through legal means. Shit, if I were living in the ghetto and stealing bikes to ride illegally on the streets for the sole purpose to harass the cops and neighbors, I might get the sympathy needed to make a movie.
pppffffttt.... So much for doing things the right way......
