Anyone ever have this problem? Right now there is only 1 (one) streetlight in my town, but 2 more are being installed. Just curious how common is this problem.

i've heard you can get as good results by sticking a rare-earth(read: *REALLY STRONG*) magnet on your bike, or touching the center-stand (if you've got one) to the loop in the pavement.
bonus points for attaching the magnet to the center-stand, and dropping that.

The only "intuitive" interface is the nipple.
Dosen't do shit.
I've read other boards' threads about that rip-off.

the best thing to do if there is a problem, is to call the highway dept (town if it is a town maintained light, and the state if it is a state maintained light) normally they adjust the lights to trigger with a bicycle.
I have seen lights that don't work for some motorcycles that work for me... steeltoe boots?

The best thing I've found is to kill the bike and start it again. I read about that in wunna the m/c rags, and it hasn't failed me yet...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Aren't lights just on timers anyways?
I didn't think they actually "detected" anyone sitting there..

I just line my bike up with the sensor stripe, and it works..Got that big steel flywheel in there! I guess it's enuff to trigger the field.
Too old to rock and roll, too young to die.
I stamp my feet once i stop and i can see the cutout line where the sensors are. Hey, it works for me
