Saw this question pitched on another forum & thought it was kinda interesting.


Scenario: You live in a world where current road laws physically CANNOT be broken. Speeding ,wheelies & whatever are physically impossible. They simply CANNOT be done on public roads. The only thing you can do on public roads is ride around AT or below the speed limit. That's it.

Rules: no rules other than described below. Money is no object in the purchase of a bike. You CAN have a second bike that is track only.

Question: What's your dream bike for the street?

Same here, Ural Patrol 2wd refitted with a modern BMW powerplant and EFI. Suspension setup for slightly longer travel via Ohlins in the right places, Alpinia tubeless CF Matrix rims for the street, a set of studded wheels/tires for winter, and maybe a set of ice screws for true silly time.

Think about it. It's impossible to wheelie or go faster than the limit allows, so you can pin the throttle and it won't kill you, right?

So, if no one can go faster than the limit, the only way to get ahead is to get people around you to slow down. What better way than to have 2000 degree exhaust at 140 decibels?
