Interesting Idea for power accessories on a bike

I'd rather just stick with SAE or custom wiring.

Some of the sport-touring.net guys are the type of rider who is a gadget freak and has everything under the sun wired into the bike though.

Kind of defeats the purpose of riding a bike IMO. I definitely don't need to use my palm pilot, charge the cell phone, etc.. while riding.

Battery tender/heated jacket - SAE connector on battery, installs in 5 minutes

Radar detector, heated grips - wire into bike permanently.

The one thing I do like about this however is that you can easily have two accessories, ie: GPS and Radar Detector, and you can grab them and put them into your cage easily.

you can do that with SAE connectors very easily too. Like Ben said, keep it simple, those things may be convenient on a gold wing, but I see no use on a sportbike
