I'm psyched!

We're leaving for Lake George with the bikes next weekend, we bring the kids with us (my youngest will ride with our friend who rides a Harley so it's safer for her) and we rented a speed boat and a tube for a whole day! We're going to camp directly on the lake. It's going to be a great weekend...*sigh*

Have any of you use one of those belts that you attach the kid to you? Our friend's Harley has a back rest and arm rests if I remember right, but I still feel very nervous about having her on a bike. Actually I'm driving the SUV in case she gets too tired. The girls will take turn on his bike, instead of riding on Stephan's ZX-10. Stephan and I will take turns riding his bike so I get to ride too.

has your youngest one ever been on a bike? might be a good idea to take her out on a short ride to see how she feels. sometimes kids get real scared of just the sounds and sensations of speed.

No she hasen't. He's coming over this weekend to take her out for a short ride and see how she likes it. She always want to get on my or Stephan's bikes (no, we don't ride with her on the back) in the driveway. If she doesn't like it for some reason, she'll just stay in the truck. My oldest has been on a 2 hours ride last year with me, and she LOVED it. She's 11 yrs old, she was an excellent passenger. My only problem is that I could barely feel she ws behind me, which made me very nervous. Imagines how it would be with my youngest...
