Installed Stainless Steel Lines couple ?'s

I installed front SS lines on my sv yesterday and have a couple of questions/comments on the bleeding.

    1) Speed Bleeders are great! 2) The caliper nuts Galfter sent me did not fit, so I used the original bolt. Seemed to work fine, but will I be okay? 3) I kept pumping and pumping and I could never seem to get all the bubbles out. There always seemed to a few microscopic bubbles here and there. Is this normal?

Did you get a bleeder valve for your master cylinder banjo bolt? There's probably air in there at the top of the lines where they connect to the master cyl. In case you don't have a bleeder on there, you can still bleed it the ghetto way - put a lot of paper towels and shit around it, pump up the pressure in the brake system and while applying pressure on the brake, uncsrew the banjo fitting at the master cylinder till you hear air escaping & see brake fluid squirting out. Then quickly tighten the fitting back before you release the brake lever... repeat.

I had to go through all this when replacing the MC, calipers, & lines on my Z... it's a pain in the ass and gets messy, but, ya gotta do what ya gotta do

If you've got all except the microscopic air out you should be fine! Now it's time to go out and hammer on that thing!
