    Re: insurance question...

    maybe one of these apply?
    1) the insurance company valued one of the bikes incorrectly
    2) you just upgraded bikes but got a shorter term policy (make sure it is still a full year)
    3) you have just surpassed the experience mark and now will pay less

either way, im not going to complain paying less for a newer and nicer bike, now i just have to figure out how to pay for the bike... good news is the owner wants way to much for it now so next spring it will still be around

Maybe the loss rate of the CBR is lower than that of the R6, so the insurance company charges a lower premium.

could be experience, could be points on your license (if any were due to drop off), they could have been over valuing the r6. bunch of factors. what state are you in?

if your company is like mine, when you add/change bikes, they just pro-rate your existing policy until the end of your term. so, yes, the 600rr will cost you more money more than

progessive gives you 2 numbers, the difference for your current 6 month term as well as for a new 6 month policy.
