Intimidated by HD riders or not liking sport bikes?

I pull into my local Hess as its the only station in town with free air. I park behind a guy in an import sedan. He's putting air in all 4 tires and definitely sees me as he walks from side to side. 3 Harley's roar up and park in front of him. He finishes his car and hands the hose to one of them. Happy to say the HD rider says no he (meaning me) was here first. I say thanks to the HD rider and tell the guy he can leave the hose by the pump. He then backs up. Causing me to have to back up my bike. I then wonder if he was intimidate by 3 helmet less older men or just doesn't like sport bike riders. I fix up my pressures and then offer my gauge to the guy putting air in his buddies bike as the hess pump has a bad guage. I don't think the guy putting the air in knew quite how to use a pressure gauge but the owner of the bike was thankful. Ill score it up as 3 friendly guys on HD even with a tire problem at night and one intimidated guy in a car.

I bet it was some mix of both.

Why not buy a mini compressor and adjust your own tires at your own leisure?

What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.

Actually have one but it broke where the hose connects. Cheap Benny's type of thing. And the Hess is a couple miles away and free so that usually works out ok.

Motorcycle tires don't have much air in them. I use a bicycle pump half the time :\

So, do you mean you pump them up half way, or just the front, or?

Cute. Sometimes the bike pump doesn't want to grab the stem and I break out a cheap tankless compressor. Probably time to buy a better bike pump
Ironically, most road bicycles require a lot higher air pressure and are a bigger pain in the ass to top off using a pump.
