lucky bastard I would love to go see this race, but then again I think watching something like this on TV would be better as you can only see 1 part of the course at a time

Do you have a hotel room already booked? Thats the biggest problem i had with going to them. Its almost impossible to find a room with out reserving it way in advance. Wonderfull time though, my wife wants to keep going back but its been years now.

we found a hotel for the 2 nights we will be out on the island. cheap to which surprised me. Any recommendations as to where to spectate?

starting to book everything this week as well as try to get in contact with a family member that i haven't seen since i was like 3 months old... going to make for an awkward few minutes

How long are you gonna be there for? I liked watching from close to the start then switching to the towns later on. I found that if you want to see speed and an actual race you wanna be near the start of the course, towards the end they must get tired and the action really slows down. Realistically any place is good if your near a good turn but i like actually being in the town sections of the course. Someplaces you can be inches from the bikes going by and be protected by a stonewall cause accidents are gonna happen.

yea we were looking at finding a place somewhere in one of the town sections, something about them flying by wide open through a town seems pretty bad ass to be up close and see it.

We are only going to be out on the island for 2 days unfortunately. way to much to do and not enough time off to be able to do it.

Some friends went to the TT last year and are going again this year. I watched it on tv last year and will watch it again on tv this year, but maybe some day...
