Local broken into - AGAIN

My old place of employment and haunt for years in Springfield has been broken into again. They used a golf club to smash the safety glass!

Just a few weeks ago, someone smashed a window and took a pile of clothing and helmets. The guy was reported a few days later having a nice tag sale with all the items that were stolen. The cops can't do anything since they can't prove it came from Baer's.

Also, twice in the last year someone has driven a car right through the parts department door. You have gotta love Springfield, Mass.

Took the cops over 40 minutes to respond to the second one.

Time to move out of that hell-hole neighborhood.

Move the cops out of Springfield. There is no need for them. They don't do shit anyways.

Living there for 4.5 years has convinced me that Springfield is not worth the effort to get cleaned up. They don't want the help or at least it seems that way.

Baer's Cycles again??? Can't believe it! Took the cops 40 minutes to get there uh? Sprfild cops sucks ass. Man God called them again yesterday for drag racing on our street AGAIN (in front of an elementary school also) they NEVER showed up. Pff...

The Springfield Police definitely suck. When my '98 ZX6R was stolen in '00 while living in Springfield they were a downright pain in the ass to deal with. I had to fill out a police report multiple times, which they in turn lost which made dealing with my insurance company and the bank that held the loan a real treat.

I remember a number of years ago a guy in FL getting pissed about how often his business was robbed that wired quite a bit of electricity into his windows or something. The next guy that tried to break in was electrocuted and I think the business owner had to stand trial for manslaughter. I'm not sure how it worked out, but it sounds like a good idea to me.

Something seriously needs to be done about Springfield and Holyoke.

instead of blaming the cops blame the shitholes that are causing so much crime that there are not enough police to respond......blame the budget which doenst allow enough money to employ more cops.

The truth is that they don't give a shit. We have a friend who's a cop for Springfield, he says himself that Springfield police corp is one of the worse! He said himself that there is also a LOT of corrupts officers. Unbelievable. We've been calling many times for serious racing problems on our quiet street, you know what they replied? "Yes 'mam (sir if my husband), we'll put your complain into the computer but unless we see it happening, there is nothing we can do" Nothing they can do?? Bullshit! Just send a fuckin car when we call you reporting them racing! My husband said that he's thinking about getting a lawyer to send the police of Springfield a letter stating that if they do nothing about this problem, after they recorded many complains about high speed racing/drag racing, and an accident happen, we will be the first ones to sue them for not doing anything. There is a lot of young children around here, and those asshats are drag racing and hanging out right in the elementary school yard (where there is signs that clearly states: no trespassing, police take notice------bullshit, police don't do shit). Other neighbors have called also, we all get the same shit from them. Last year we got robbed, they took one friggin hour to show up at our door steps!!!

Maybe Baer's should think about getting one of those awsome dogs called pittbulls or any attack dogs to stay over night, just in case someone try to pull that shit again. I'm really sorry to hear this.

What they should do is move the shop to a better location. They are a good family and a good business.

They donate to local clubs, and have helped sponsor many local events. Bad things do happen to good people.

It's just a real shithole of a neighborhood.

And the Springfield cops could really give a shit. You are lucky they even get out of the car.

and why do you think the cops could give to rats asses about these things you call horrible....while you are complaining about thefts and people racing, they are dealing with drug dealers and murderers. There are only so many officers per scum bags. I wouldnt give two shits about these things either if i had to deal with the shit police have to deal with day in and day out. obviously i dont know the exact number but i would assume there are about 150,000 people in Springfield....do you actually think that the police can be there exactly when you call at your convenience??? you are going to have to go to a higher level(some sort of god) to make springfield a perfect society.......do what i do....dont live in a big city full of scumbags

just remember........the police are not Superman...they cant be there every time something goes wrong

Doesn't take a sale. DD usually doesn't charge cops. At least not the ones that I frequent.
