It's brand new isn't it?
At the July track day he said he didn't have a website.
Ben
The site's still new. He's workin' on it though!
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?

Ken is being incredibly reasonable with his prices, if he has a good shot of you, buy it and make sure to buy the CD too cause he deserves the support.
I took the files he sold me to be professionally printed and was told he could have charged a huge amount more than he did for the original files. He's basically selling you the rights to the pictures if he gives you the files, that is very rare for photographers to do.
Ben
The photographer upstairs from my shop just had to close his doors after 20 plus years in the buisness. He is one of those people that try to keep the rights to the photos he has taken. The other photographer upstairs is busy as hell, he does not sell you only certain rights to the photos he takes, he sells you the photo/file (everything digital now). It is a hard time to be in a buisness like that.

Most photographer's are smart enough to let you use your photos and will be happy to grant you 'permission'. The big fault lies within the customer usually, as most are too afraid to just ask for some reason. In my line of work, I deal with a lot of photographers. And not one has denied us the priveledge of using their customer's images. In fact, we're on a mailing list of a coupla local photog's. They send us a generic 'blanket' clause allowing us to use their photos...
None the less, Ken is a credit to his hobby and part-time profession. He's got a great eye, and is a pleasure to work with. If given the opportunity, I'd highly suggest that you render his services...

You guys are da best. Thanks for the kind words. So sorry for the site being "unfinished", because it's very existence is work of a friend. If I had to pay a web designer to put that together, I'd have to rape...er....charge more for the photos. As it is now, I have the "exchange program" with my website host.
When I give you the photos, it's "for personal use only, all rights reserved". What that means is: Do whatever you want with it, but as soon as you get superfamous and start making money with the photos, I want my cut. For 99% of things you do, such as posting them on a web site (like here), it would just be a nice courtesy if you put "photo by Ken Mitchell" on it. But I don't cry about it if you forget.
I get famous for having great photos of you, YOU get famous for having the world-famous photographer take photos of your ripping a new record lap time at NHIS.
I'll see about getting ALL track day photos I have up on that site soon. It'll have to be a "contact sheet" page for those, because (most of) you don't have numbers to enter into the search engine database.
Thanks again for you support. I LOVEdoing this, and when you help support my efforts, I'll keep being there for you.
Stoneman: I'll find the best I have of you and send it along.
