Kendon Trailer Mods

I have this Kendon:




1) The diamond plate is dangerously slick when wet. I'm thinking about coating it with truck bed liner. Will that work well? Any brand and application advice?
2) I'd like to put my mounted rain tires on the trailer. I think plywood over the front open areas (left and right sides) will do the trick or does anyone have a better idea?

The spray on bedliner is the best bet. That stuff is a miracle...

ETA: that trailer is the one Id buy...Its awesome.
