what is the fair price of 2005 r1 ???

the bike is 2005 r1 with 7500 miles. mint condition, has 2 bros exhaust, power commander, asv levels. owner want 6k. so what is the fair price should i deal with him? thanks

Average retail: $6,300.

I have found between low and high nada retail or between kbb trade in and retail is a good private value. So 5k or would be fair considering a 1000 that is 8 years old should have something like 30k for miles to be accurate on those nada and kbb values. 6k asking is not unreasonable but 5k is better. I offered him $5300 he said he will think about that. Since 5k is the fair price, I think my offer is good. The bike is so nice, really like it, but I don't want to over pay for it.
