couple years ago I saw a thread from another forum of a young woman who got mangled in a bike wreck, anyone have a link for something like that? gfriends 20 year old daughter who rode with sandals and tank top needs a wake up call.

Happened to her last night.

coincidence but I was at hospital from 10-3am for this same young lady. She got T boned hard by a 17y/o running a stop sign in a suv. concussion / cuts and scrapes, her leg looks like she was beat by a sledge hammer but no broken bones. she "thinks" she was wearing a seat belt but there is little question by the results. I will keep these pics/links in my back pocket, no need to give her a safety sermon now. thanks all

sorry to hear, hope she is ok. I am sure the hospital gave her Virago (sounds something like that I used 25 years ago)for the road burn. at the age of 44 it drives me nuts to see pretty young girls on the back of bikes wearing little more than a smile - and I live in the helmet is an option state.

The perfect example, and her website to promote wearing the proper gear is to be applauded. She could've turned away and never looked at another bike again....girl has a big heart, great courage
