Only if they have a bike of equal or more value than your own. Cause if they crash it you can take their bike at that point.

Ask them if it's ok if you ride their girlfriends (or boyfriends...whatever) while they're out riding your bike.

Letting friends ride your bike. I look at it this way, if they have there own bike that insurace will pay for anything if it happens. So if they cant cover the insurance, sorry!

    Phunny

Phunny you mention something like this.. I was just at the Rockingham Mall...

Saw a new Copper SV parked... went over to look at it..

The Driver came out.. we talked and offered me if I wanted to drive it!!!! That's trust I rejected, only cuz I believe that one shouldn't ride another's toy, unless you REALLY know them.

    Still, I was droooooollllling.

Simply put it this way, can ya replace the bike if ya crash it? If the answer is no then there's no reason to let them ride.

Bike swapping with friends is one thing and is actually quite fun. If someone were to walk up to me and ask to take my bike for a spin, i'd tell em to take a hike

Is it hard to switch it on a sv ? and will it screw up the way I ride ? Cause I shift pretty good right now.

yeh, swapping is kewl as long as you know the other person well enough to know that they have insurance on their own bike and it is of equal or greater value than yours . Oh and you know they ride well, because you have ridden with them and have seen them ride.

I wouldn't just had over a bike to someone who I sorta knew .

You got a 636, can't believe you'd want a smaller motor than a 650!!LOL Must be nice having more than 65 hp to play with. Did you get an 03? That might be my next bike, its gotten great reviews.

its a fun bike! just really really fast.. you cant play with all the power the way u could on the sv.the handling, breaking, and suspension is 10 times better, and the only downfall is the seating position, its a groin buster.but for the most part its a great bike!
