I'll most likely return the bike to stock if i ever sell it. then sell the bits and pieces separately.
unless otherwise specified by the buyer of course.

Whatever blows your skirt up! I wear tightie-whities under mine.
This thread is necrotic, but I need someone (more recently than 16 years ago) to tell me that buying a set of BST wheels for my street bike is a dumb idea.
It wouldn’t ever be much of a consideration but finding a used set for about $500 per wheel has me trying to justify it.
I have oz rims on my gsxr. It made a shocking difference from stock. Money well spent in my book.
I don't know if I would buy cheap used carbon wheels though. I would worry about longevity. That's why I didn't buy new carbon wheels and picked the oz rims.
That price seems to good to be true. Also, carbon cracks, so buyer beware. I would be tempted depending on age of said wheels.
Yea, I’ve had the same reservations re: longevity, history, damage. I reach out to BST with the serial numbers to get some info on them.
As for the price, he’s had them for sale for a long time… I just don’t think he’s been able to find a buyer probably for all of the same reasons we just said. Price has been cut in half from his initial asking. FWIW they’re being represented as ‘perfect’, but they aren’t local so no pre-purchase inspection and there’s a risk either way.
LOVE the BST wheels, so want / need to get a set for the Hyper.
And Devils advocate, I'd take the chance to get BST baller status at a discount! Worse case scenario they aren't useable, polish them up, slap on a set of ragged out slicks, hang them on the wall as art and tell people "that's all that's left of my bike after the crash."
Still better deal than an NFT ape.....
Found that production dates are early 2013/late 2012 and they also have ceramic bearings.
I’ll mull it over for another day but I think I’m going to end up pulling the trigger because I’m a huge sucker for opportunity.

After shipping/insurance/PayPal fees to protect myself the cost went up, but I still feel good about the deal.
For anyone coming across this thread in the future, I found this inspection document to be helpful - https://blog.brocksperformance.com/b...tion-document/
They look fucking amazing.
