    New Liners for Old Gear?

I have a pair of Tourmaster Venture Air pants. Despite some sun fade, all zippers etc work just fine but the rain/wind liner that came with it has now torn badly.

Is there a replacement liner anyone might be able to recommend? Maybe just some rain pants off Amazon or something? Hate to toss what is otherwise a functional pair of riding pants. Thanks!

Does it have to be an internal liner? Can you use Frog Togs or something similar over the pants instead?

Since they're mesh pants I use the rain liner more as a wind liner. I assume something under the pants would hold up longer

I was thinking the same thing... Could just do Frog Togs under the mesh, no?

That's kinda what I meant about rain pants off amazon, Frog Togs are a popular choice there. I'll probably end up going that route... Just wasn't sure if there was a better option. It's weird I can't find Tourmaster's site, you'd think they would sell liners separately.

Try checking eBay, I’ve seen random liners for name brand jackets listed, people that sell/toss the jacket then find the liner later.

Tourmaster/Cortech is now owned by HelmetHouse

I don't think I've ever seen liners for sale separate from the gear itself. That said you could probably call and ask to buy them separately.

But keep in mind, when I had to warranty a pair of Rev'It Poseidon pants, I forgot to bring the liner and had the new liner put in the old pants that were sent back. The old liner didn't have the same number of teeth on the zipper so hung loose. Seems as if not all liners, even in the same set of pants, are sewn the same.

What I do with mesh gear now is layer. A set of Marmot Precip pants will probably be cheaper on ebay, have full zips and will probably hold up better long term.
