Where is 'local' for you? Moto Milano in Windham ME should be able to assist for example but that could be a 5 hour drive depending on where you are.

Sorry, northeastern mass/SNH...willing to drive a bit if I need to, but it's looking like I'll just make it myself.

I keep telling myself that one of these days I should get some silver solder, cable, jacket and ends assortment for just this sort of thing... but I haven't needed a custom cable in a few years now so... still haven't followed through.
