oh man... too bad i don't need leathers

hmm.... 129 for an airtech tail for my bike?... naaaahhhh

then again... since i already have some big scrapes & scratches on my body work.... if the rest of the airtech bodywork is cheap enough, i just might make my bike into a white kawi

oh wait... lights etc kinda put a damper in that idea, don't they?

If it's track bodywork you're looking for, this would probably be a better deal.

Or this if you want to keep the lights

At 12 bucks I might pick up some of those pegs on the LP site. Might be a cheap fix to my ground clearance issue, they look a good deal smaller than the stock rests.

ehhh, that looks a little more than "slightly" damaged... looks like one of the mounting points is trashed.

And I was lookin at those pegs, too... u mean these ones, right?

man, if only money grew on trees, there's so much stuff i'd REALLY like to get.

    tank protector
frame sliders (damn coolant resevoir, gettin in the way of the engine mount )
    track bodywork
    footpegs
    levers
    windscreen
    .............................................

Doesn't look that bad to me, if it fit my 98 I'd consider bidding, plastic isn't cheap, would be good insurance against a track lowside. Supposedly it bolts right on to the 99s but they redesigned the gauge cluster so I'm out of luck.

Yeah those are the pegs I was looking at. For twenty bucks I'll probably go for it, I just need to make sure they bolt on and off easy, I want to be able to swap on the cushy stockers for the street.

You can't bolt on a set of frame sliders to the 02? That's strange, they bolt right on my 98, replace the upper fairing bolts. Chintsy mounting really, mine bent a bolt when my father backed into my bike, but they saved the plastic so I figure they were worth the twenty bucks.

yeah, i can bolt some sliders to the the upper fairing mounts, but like you said, chintzy spot. the real place to put em are on the engine mounts, but the left side engine mount is behind the coolant resevoir. LP has a kit for it that replaces the coolant resevoir w/ one they made that has a doughnut hole in it, but you still gotta cut the fairing. I don't have a problem doing that, but the kit was like 150 bucks or somethin like that.... rediculous... of course when you look at how much money it could save you if end up doin something that would scratch up the frame it's still cheap, but 150 bucks is 150 bucks (and i actually think it was more than 150)
