    Look what I bought :)

Lookie what I bought yesterday... have been bugging the guy for a while and stood my ground on a price. He eventually gave in and I got a pretty good deal on these.

Essentially mint condition, runout was checked and is only a couple thousandths, true was checked on a truing stand.

Comes with all the rotors, sprocket, cush drive and sprocket carrier, spacers, bearings, seals, the works.

Current plan is to have some track day tires and street tires... also can easily have diff gearing for track days just by going up a couple in the rear on the track set, and not put on lots of unnecessary street mileage or have to buy a speedohealer. But I'm sure in the future these are going to end up holding slicks and rains...

For an extra $120 more, you can get a speedohealer that you can now program 2 different settings into it. Example, you can have +3 on rear of your track wheel and stock on your street wheel. When ever you swap, once programed, you just hold a button down to swap modes and done. Badabing badaboom.

I didn't know the speedohealers had two settings. I might consider that then. Thanks Jay

They were not there the first time I looked. I waited for pics to load. I even refreshed the page and didn't see anything. I see them now though... Nice grab.

Not always. Sometimes you can get away with adjusting the wheel a little bit. It does change the ride height but to most of us that small change wont matter.

I actually might know of a few sets you could look at. Do you care about appearance as long as they're true?

What about just 2 teeth in the rear... would the chain adjusters have enough in them to deal with that?

chris i still think you'll need a new chain to fit +2 in the rear. and i agree on the speedohealer for you. it's good to know plus your milage will be accurate too, so you'll know when to clean that chain again

Well if I want to run different gearing street and track, looks like I'll need to buy a shitload of master link kits hahaha. I already have an RK chain tool, very nice.

I'm still kidding myself that this bike is going to stay on the street for a long time....
