    Lookin at another bike

    Well haven't yet even bought my first new bike the one I posted pics of when I come across another deal. A 95 ninja ZX6R with 17k on the clock and been sitting on a rack covered in a garage for $1500 in mint shape bone stock. So I'm thinkin I'd be an idiot not to pick this up instead of the 87 FZ that needs work. Anybody have any experience with either of these bikes? I'm leanin toward the ninja now and get the FZ if it's still around come next spring so I can teach the wife how to ride and not worry bout scratchin it. Well just lookin for any opinions.

    tires, lines, hoses, seals, etc. close inspection is called for. everything checks out, grab it. not sure in the case of these two bikes in particular, but the 95 may have better parts availability over the 87? (not to mention what your riding needs/prefs are)

    Hasn't been sitting too long and has been rode recently like 2 months ago. Brand new dunlops front and back and new battery so everything is in working order just needs some air in the tire.

    As far as my riding pref's or needs I'm not entirely sure yet. In all seriousness this will be my first "real" streetbike. I've ridden most of my life offroad all over California and have owned a KZ 650 and a GS550 which I rode both for awhile till I got involved in tearing them apart to rebuild them with every performance trick I could get my hands on then all my parts and the bike got stolen. I've been without a bike for like 3 years now and it's been killin me. The little woman finally gave me the go ahead to see if I could pick up something cheap and I stumbled across these two deals. So this is my on road history as it were. I can't drag a knee or anything as of yet but do want to do some track days and such to learn these things and this site seems like just the place I needed to find to find out how to do this.
