congrats, man! super stoked for you, that's going to be one badass 'dirt' bike. not sure if you saw the demo day Motorsport Int had at 508 but i think every test rider was super impressed.

i tried to buy a bike or two from MotorBikes Plus but never worked out. seem like a good shop.

Hah, I did see he's commented on FB that he was burning about 50% battery at 35hp on a 20min race? Not looking good for a Varg at Loudon with those numbers.

My son's only 5 months and I'm already stoked for dirtE bike shopping for the two of us... Clinton, hit me up when your son outgrows the KTM and you're no longer riding the Explorer.

If there's one thing the Italians do right, it's electronics.........................................................

... Jokes aside, there isn't a single country or company that I don't hope succeeds in the alternative power source vehicle market.

i know it will be too early, but i'm assuming we'll only get this season out of the SX-E 5 then up for sale.

    Re: Looking for something....electric

First timestamp is the 'B' group, the Varg rider transferred to the back of the 'A' group for their final race of the weekend in the second timestamp, where he got 17 out of 18. The A group pace at the front was a solid 5 to 6 seconds a lap quicker than what he was putting down. I'll admit some delusions of grandeur thinking I could potentially have put up a fight on my 150SX in the B race... the dirt looked way less technical than Boxshop.

Was he in the 35hp club, or big boy pants club?

Didn't look like 80hp, but might be traction limited.

The few examples I've read so far show most aren't actually using the 80hp setting typically, one rider is noted at using 56hp on pavement but dropping to a 36hp map for dirt for more control. A different racer is using 80hp on pavement, 60hp in the dirt (again, for better finesse), feels the bike is about equal to the 450s, maybe 'a bit' faster, stock gearing. (14/48 if shipped with a 19" rear, 13/48 if shipped with an 18") Universally, everyone wants Stark to offer the throttle response curve adjustment promised when first advertising the bikes.

This is progressing faster than anticipated: Email from Stark, my VARG is in the US, dealer should have it in 5 to 7 days.
