There is an opportunity down the road for some of that, but CAD and engineering is not the primary focus of this position. This is primarily a sales and customer service position, with opportunities to expand your role down the road. If a candidate is genuinely interested, we can certainly talk salary at that point.

Sorry to pollute Woodcraft's thread, but what CAD system? BSME? If the answers are SolidWorks and yes, PM me.

    1) No - sorry...
    2) We are set up with the entire Cycle Gear chain and sell parts actively to about half of them. Talk to your boss, we are an approved vendor there.

Thanks for the replies and emails that we've got on this. I'll help clarify a little bit what we are looking for. This is primarily a sales and customer service position, but we don't pigeon hole people here with limited roles. So, while this person will be taking and fulfilling orders, there are a number of other roles that could be taken on as time goes on. These roles, which could include anything from helping with advertising campaigns to doing entry level CAD work, would be in addition to the primary role as a customer service rep. This job is defintely for someone who is able to work in our office in Wichendon, MA. You'll have the opportunity to make a real contribution to a growing company in an industry that we all love....

Sounds like a great opportunity for someone to work their way up the company. I would love the opp but commuting distance and salary cut would probably hurt me too much. Man, this is something I wish was available 10 years ago.

Resume sent. Hate to do this right after being promoted, but some opportunities are too good to pass up.
