    Motorcycle police: USA vs. Japan

    USA

    Japan

Amazing skills by both but it's impressive that the Japanese can lean it that far at that speed without dumping it.

    Enjoy.

Not to be captain obvious, but you're almost comparing a mini cooper to an Abrams tank

Re: Motorcycle police: USA vs. Japan

I'm not sure the title of your thread is accurate. I think both of these are open-entry competitive driving events, in which one of them happens to have a police officer as a contestant.

That said, it's spectacular driving both operators. And it is interesting to really see how much quicker that sport bike move around (no surprise there). But different tools for different purposes.

How many million cones are they using for that first course? I'm not sure whether to have a seizure or find some leftover candy corn to munch.

1st on IS a cop "rodeo".

2nd one is like an autocross course, not cops.

Those motorcyle auto-x courses are awesome. I'd kill for something like that around here.

If that cop ever has to chase someone down in a rat's maze, he's good to go.
    Impressive by both, no doubt.

Now I know if I ever need to escape from a motorcycle cop, simply construct a wall of orange cones.

I'd love to try that. It'd be interesting to orchestrate, but you'd have to find people willing to participate in an event where they're likely to dump their bike at least once.

The japanese video is a repost (fuck you rossco)

It's all pretty impressive stuff, I once saw a hpd officer bang a u turn without hitting the white lines on a two lane road and he was moving pretty good.

    "roadeo" actually
I've done one in a bus. not nearly that many obstacles and I still got all confused and fucked one up big time. I don't know how these guys figure out where to go on a lot of it.

yup. I know there are bus and truck roadeos. figured a motorcycle one would also be called that too since they drive on the road. its a play on words.
