    Parts parts parts

    OK, here goes...

Horns: your choice... I went with the 135 decibel Highway blasters. Don't have part numbers, but, if getting a pair, get one low and one high tone. There's tons of horns out there, so, like I said, your choice. JC Whitney even has a set of Italian Air horns with the compressor built right in so there's alot less work.

    Relay: Advance Auto Parts A-715 (item# 6250513)
It doesn't have to be this exact relay, just make sure it's sealed.

Misc.: Connectors: crimp on style female quick disconnects (these will be needed at the relay and at the horns) about 8 or so. Male quick disconnects (needed at the existing horn harness). #10 gauge wire (definately stranded, not solid, preferably type MTW or THHN .... better the MTW but THHN will work as well) a few different sizes of heat shrink tubing to cover the connectors. A nut and bolt to mount the relay to where the old horn was, if you're not mounting the new horn there (I didn't). Whatever hardware you'll need to mount the horns. An inline blade-style fuse holder (easier to replace fuses and more reliable than the little glass buss fuse holders) and few crimp connectors to connect to the battery and to connect a ground lead to the frame near the horns (connected mine to an existing bolt at the front of the frame by the forks... no sense running it all the way back to the battery when there's the "ground" anywhere there's metal. Note: I found out that the forks aren't a good ground.... must be all the bushings and whatnot between the frame and forks. A fuse for the fuse holder.... 10 amps should do.

Pretty sure that about covers it. Anyone really lost? Maybe I'll come help ya out or do it for ya for a reasonable fee

parts list & wiring diagram / schematic would be much appreciated... I'm too lazy to repeat all the research you've already done.
C'mon, you never added nothin' to your bike?? No radar? Heated grips? Nothin'???
