I lowered my front end before on my R6 now I did it with my R1 I went over board I might add I was looking for some info 1 person on the R1 board said I lowered to much and the front's going to tuck on me someday any racers want to chime in? I went 40 mm to the recommended 10mm-20mm I'm going to raise the back end to comply with the front. Does anyone have any experience with this?
I just got Pilots in the mail and a 180 in the rear I want this fucker to turn in fast!
Here is a picture to get an Idea of the forks. I have ridden it this way and even with a nice wheelie the never came close to bottoming out.
