    Madass?

I feel like I've heard of these things, but anyone know the skinny on them? I'm not in the market, just curious...

Never played with one but seen them around here and there. They are pretty freakin cool for what they are. I'd rock one as a pit bike but i'd probably kill myself on it.

They're a bit heavy, both the frame and wheel castings could be lighter without compromising strength. Standard chinese pitbike engines but they put a decent, Honda Wave derived 3 phase stator on them so they'll actually charge decently.

The "beefyness" of the frame and swingarm are what I seemed to notice first (and those headlights). Looks like fun.

Pretty sure RG500 had/has one of these. Maybe send him a PM and ask about the quality or lack thereof?

Love to rock it, but not for the price of a regular bike.

    Re: Madass?

Had it for a pit bike at the races. It was fun and my only feedback is that is tall and tough to get your leg over because it is at an awkward height. And even the middle bar is awkward too, but once you are on it, it is fun!

    Re: Madass?

At $1995 the seller is smoking crack! it's a 50cc version that probably retails for less. Ferrari stickers must really add the value

check this interview with my buddy POC Phil

    Re: Madass?

That Ferraried-out bike in the CL ad has the Lifan Chinese engine. I'd recognize that chrome-oval side cover anywhere. I believe Lifan makes larger engines that will bolt right in though.
