    Massholes - Bike excise?

I don't seem to have an excise tax bill for my bike this year. Jeep and homemade trailer excise bills came as normal. Anyone else get theirs?

Offtopic, but you dont happen to work in the 100 Talcott Ave buildings do you? Noticed an identical SV650N there today.

nothing yet... excise taxes are administered by the town, so if your town is slow, your bill is slow.

Got my $15 bill from Medford last week. i paid it right away, last year I forgot about it and the $15 ended up becoming $45 pretty quick.

Nope! And I'm not riding quite yet... tons of sand on my street still... like enough that my Jeep skids!

About the excise... hmmm. I got the bills for my jeep and trailer. The town has a pay-online service that also has a find-all-bills-you-owe feature where you can search by your DL#. It found the jeep and trailer bills but no bike.

I really don't feel like paying $45 for a $5 excise just because I missed it. And I'm moving to a different town this month, too... ugh.

did you renew your reg for 2011?

you wont get a excise bill until after you've renewed your plate.

Hmmm... I'm pretty sure that I did in December but that's a very good point. I'd better double-check before I go trying to ride somewhere unregistered.

Yep, I'm registered, and Drop's link confirms it. I think I might have renewed in January, that might have something to do with it...

got my excise bill yesterday (dated 3/11) for the truck i owned on jan 1 but traded in a couple weeks later. haven't received one yet for the new truck or my bike.

i renewed my bike registration at the beginning of february, so that seems to fit with previous posts about delayed excise bills for late renewals.
