Just got my first issue. Friggin sweet!
I was always reluctant to get MCN because I thought of it as a newspaper... Well when your newspaper is full of news you want to read it is awesome!
Very good articles and I swear they must have some guy on NESR keeping a finger on the pulse of the bike world and taking topics from the forum. It was like reading the forum without all the off topic comments.
Highly reccomended!

Cool. I will look into it.
It is a great mag if you're actually into reading about bikes. Their articles are very in depth and (best of all) very honest. I don't think anyone at MCN is getting any kickbacks from any manufacturers. The only real negative is how much the magazine costs (around $20-30/year it seems).
If you're more into photos get one of the other mags.
Just making sure because I would be interested in subscribing...

is that the companies website? do they have a US one or can I get a card or something from you Doc so I can subscribe?
Pssst. Did you happen to read any of our own KEN CONDON articles?

I love MCN. I just wish they wouldn't send me renewal notices 2 months after I subscribe for a year!

does it cover racing to or is it more of reviews on bikes for sale? Im pretty happy with motorcyclist right now cause it touches most bases.
Like I said they say, nothing stops a party barge.

You can't really compare the two. MCN is an enthusiast's magazine with maintenance/modification tips, skills articles, industry insights, bike reviews of all types, etc.
Motorcyclist and all the other glossy magazines are fun to look at, but you get much more real content with MCN. I'd have BOTH in my magazine rack.
I get MCN and I change the other mag every year. I'd had others, but there are only so many times I want to read about the same bikes being tested.

I subscribed to MCN way before I began writing for MCN. I discovered it at the NYC motorcycle show back in 1994 or so. I was a MC magazine junkie, so I couldn't believe I didn't know it existed. Dave Hough was my hero (still is).
The reason so many people don't know about it us because it is subscription only and not on the newstands. Also, people are reluctant to subscribe because not having any advertising makes it is more expensive than the glossies that have tons of ads. Although the 2 year Amazon deal is pretty cheap.
