I think ducati is doing fine financially compared to other manufactureres.

The 1098 series was a huge seller, hypermotard same and now dealers can't stock enough multis. Not to mention selling out on desmos in the middle. Id say compared to 5 years ago they are in a much better place.

At this point it's nothing more than a joint marketing agreement. I wouldn't place any bets today that Ducati will owned by Benz. These sort of plans fizzle as often as they flower...
