Last year I managed just a hair over 10,000 in the less than 10 weeks I rode from buying my bike in mid july to injuring myself and being unable to ride in late Sept.
This year I've was riding consistantly from late March/early April until about 3/4 weeks ago I think and have managed a measly 12,000 miles and change. Kind of depressing since A: I planned to get well over 20k this year and B: I will be logging 0 miles next year (unless I actually come home for leave and Degs gets me on the track) due to heading off to Korea in March.
The positive is that my next duty station will most likely be in GA and I will be riding YEAR round AND have 4 tracks within a 250 mile radius.![]()

Bout 7k this year. The last few years were higher but I missed a bunch of group rides this year for home improvement jobs.
First year, started in June, put on about 5200 counting today.
I voted wrong, I want my money back
I voted 3-4K because I have just shy of 4k miles on the R1 this season, forgot to check the dirtbike and realized I have over 1k miles of dirty this season so farMy trend for next year, less street, more dirty

I put just over 2000 miles on my R6 this year, and am still hoping to get out for a few more rides if the weather cooperates. For my first year riding I went for lots of shorter rides, but look forward to riding a lot more and meeting up with some people on here for some longer rides next year.
20k is my goal

slow year for me. Only about 2.5k on the duc, past years have been around 5k. Graduate school put a serious damper on my life in general. Only about 12 more months though and I will be done. But I also did 9 races plus practices and 2 trackdays. Will definitely be more next year.
i have always done 13-15k/year, but this year i am barely going to scrape by 10k... thank goodness for long commutes...
for me, the "season" isn't over for a few weeks, then I dismount my summer tires and the winter season begins

15K & counting. After this weekend though the motocomutin' will end as my route to work just isn't full dark friendly.
Only 2k this year. Usually in the 7-8k range.
Hahaha, just saw the tags.
