dont shoot the messenger here. i just know that alot of soldiers dont get the blanket emails from their states safety offices. there is alot of missing skin out there that could have been saved with a few pieces of well placed gear. im not a gear nazi but i believe it works. thats my 2 cents.

PPE is mandatory at all times when operating a motorcycle, not just when coming to or from work. If you head out to get lunch, you still need to wear the required equipment (DOT-approved helmet, safety glasses or goggles, over-the-ankle footwear, long-sleeved shirt, long pants, motorcycle gloves or mitts and a brightly colored garment for daytime and reflective garment for night driving). The use of PPE does save lives.
