Re: Millenials and the so-called dying motorcycle industry
I have seen a huge influx of younger people purchasing Harley's in the last year or so especially. The fxr became extremely popular as well as the streetbob from what I'm seeing. Sport bikes are no longer as popular. Younger riders who are buying sport bikes are really digging the new ktm 390 Duke and the r3.

I have yo admit there are many Harleys on the road around here, I would say 5 Harleys (cruisers) for every anything else I see
Some of them are moving not like the parades they used to have

The bike of choice on Reddit's /r/motorcycles seems to be the FZ09.
Funny, 10 years ago if you didn't have a cruiser, you had a GSXR. Now it's much less super sports, much more nakeds and standards. And I'm ok with that. Sport bikes are garbage on anything but a track.
Re: Millenials and the so-called dying motorcycle industry
I'd think an XSR900, especially in the black/yellow scheme, could be a totally awesome do everything bike that looks the hotness.
Re: Millenials and the so-called dying motorcycle industry
I've worked with about 20-25 millennials in the past two years, in and out of the motorcycle industry. The ones that ride seemed to be able to fend for themselves a little better. The ones that don't have helicopter parents (post-college making decisions for them) and are either self-entitled, lazy, or both. They have been enabled by their parents to be this way, and I hate them for it.
