    Mirrored shield

Scratched a mirrored shield on my Arai. Any way to fix it? Polish or anything?

could try Plexus, but you're probably SOL if you scratched the mirror finish

    Re: Mirrored shield

I wouldn't think so since it's a coating on the outer surface only. You'd end up doing more harm than good. Probably the only downside to that type of shield.

Yeah they do. I've been through a ton of them. I've pretty much given up buying them.

Not to thread-jack here, but what's the best way to remove a scratch from a smoke visor?

This is exactly the reason I went with a smoke visor too. When cleaning my smoke shield, I lay a wet paper towel over it for five or so minutes to loosen the bugs up. This has helped with the scratches.
