    Question Disable sidestand switch?

OK. I don't have anything to tie the sidestand up to so I have to remove it for the VIR trackday. ( IMHO)
So, how do I disable the kill switch? Just cut the wires and hook em together? Or is there some other sneakier/cooler/less destructive way?
    Thanks in advance!

    Disable slidestand switch?

I'm sure someone can bring a set of wiring pliers and a stretch of saftey wire for you. It'll take about 30 seconds to secure it.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

    Disable slidestand switch?

So, I should safety wire it?
I have pliers and wire but I'm not sure that'll work.
The switch is rectangle with a plunger on one end.
    Hmmm...

    Jankster,

Not 100 % sure on this but I think they are telling you to just ziptie or safety wire the kickstand up and not try to ziptie or saftey wire the switch part of it.

    Disable slidestand switch?

The closest thing to zip tie it to is the exhaust pipe.
Then maybe I could reach the swingarm.
Neither of those sound very good to me.
    But I'll look again...

    Disable slidestand switch?

just take it off and cut the wires. You don't need a kickstand anyway. Just lay the bike on it's side when you park it.
