That's terrible news. I know that ramp, and I can see how it could be very dangerous.
From the picture, it looks like he hit the guardrail pretty hard.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family, and may he rest in peace.
For all you other boston riders, please ride safe.
Oh that sucks. I spent all last Saturday on the MIT campus for a work thing and met many MIT students. I know that off-ramp very very well from years of riding Boston and Storrow daily.
RIP Bulgarian Bro.
Boston --> San Diego
that's a shame.
I rode my bike past that ramp just last night. Definitely not an exit ramp ya wanna take at speed w/ those slippery expansion joints. Push it around that corner & you'll feel the bike slipping a little over every one of those joints.

It's a shame, yes. Given what i saw all weekend long there are going to be a whole lot of motorcycle fatalities this year. I wouldn't be surprised if they're occuring weekly.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
i agree. I think i grew up this weekend. Beginning of the season, everyone excited to be out and being somewhat aggressive and everyone trying to show off and pretend the roads are clean and clear and their new names are rossi. Ive seen it over and over again, didnt want to be a part of the stupid shit, and left. It's a bad time of year and i think people forget that just because the sun is out doesnt mean the roads are good enough yet.
So sad
Dunno bout most of you but I need to see and hear this to keep me
grounded.
RIP
RIP fellow rider.
Went to the RMV today to get our new plates...it was crazy. The place was packed, and I don't know how many motorcyclists were there to also get new plates, etc.
In reference to hessogood and Beet's comments, one can only hope it won't be the case....talked to an older man who was there for his Harley, his son arrived, early 20's, and when he found out I was riding a sportbike, he gows like "WOWA! I love crotch rockets!!! Then he start making "bike noise", then goes off saying "I'm gonna get one of those R1, or maybe a BUSAAAA" I looked at him and said to his dad "please don't let him start off with one of those, he won't be out of the dealer's parking lot that the bike will be down"...his dad smiled at me and said to me that this is why he doesn't let his son drive any of his vehicles...I heard a small group of other young guys talking about their new, shiny "crotch rockets" and that they couldn't wait to go "rip the streets"...WTF??

Thats why I post em when I hear about them. If one person thinks about it while they are puting themselves in danger then its worth it. I hate hearing about it and it does make me think. In the heat of the moment we all get excited sometimes and go a little too fast. I know it makes me think about what I am doing when I hear about these things.

Damn, i've gone that way so many times.... and yeah it is sketchy... sobering.
