Did you buy that used from Bear's Cycle Sales in Springfield? I sold mine to them in '96 as part of my "I need money to buy a house" liquidation and that was exactly what mine had:

Vance & Hines SS2R full exhaust, pink tank vent hose (yeah, I know, ), fender eliminator, tank bra, and transparent purple windscreen.

Nope, bought it new in August of 93 from Herba Honda/Suzuki in Amsterdam NY. Traded in August of 99 but yep, those were the exact mods I had as well as the OEM factory solo seat cowl. Loved the bike but it was a tank and the heaviest GSXR 750 ever made.
    Cheers, Lee S.

Definitely a heavy bike, coming in just shy of 500 lbs dry. It was the first liquid cooled 750 that Suzuki made.

Of course, the worst graphics were on the 92. No subtle pink and blue for this bad boy, the graphics were screaming

Just a quickie from an old fart. The first liquid cooled 750 that Suzuki made was the early 70's GT750. It was a 2 stroke triple. Not as fast as the Kawasaki 750 triple, but it supposedly had a longer "fuse". It 's commonly known nickname was the "waterbuffalo"! It too, was a bit of a tank, like the first w/c gixxers.

OK, I'll be a little more specific, the 93 was the first liquid-cooled GSX-R750, in fact, the full model name was GSX-R750W.

Yeah, you are right. I still think the "W" stood for waterbuffalo though, LOL. Sorry, I couldn't resist.

God, those were hideous. Very popular with the brothers and PR's though.

Yes, they did. Just look at the early-mid 90's Katanas for further proof. I really loved the black/purple 93 I had. It was quite tastefully done, but the 94 silver/salmon was brutal on the eyes as well as the 92 tiger stripe models. Having said that, I find most of the traditional blue/white GSXR's to be dull, dull, dull.
These days, i'm more of a single color type of guy, although, i'd still like to get my hands on another 93 like my old one. It was pretty cool with the assymmetrical swingarm and stuff.
    Cheers, Lee S.
