According to Mladin, today's win was just another victory, nothing more. It wasn't personal, it wasn't an opportunity to pound sand up the back chute of those in Grand Prix or World Superbike who feel Mladin can't cut it in those series.


"No, no, mate, it wasn't personal at all," said a sweaty Mladin after signing autographs for hundreds of fans. "Why would it be? I'm just an AMA Superbike rider. I'll race anybody that comes to AMA Superbike. I'm not good enough for a GP or World Superbike ride, obviously."

"Neil's just another rider to me," Mladin said.

"He just decided to cut off the whole front row into turn one"
That's lame! He knows better then anyone, thats racing.

Its just a matter of time before Neil and Ducati Austin get their 999 up to speed and put Mladin in his place.

I'm looking forward to the AMA Superbike season this year.

i've never been a fan of mladin. even when he wins he manages to find something to complain about. i think he should be very worried about hodgson.

Mladin is a great rider. He tells it like it is and that, obviuosly, turns many people off. I do think that Hodgson will make it really difficult for Mat to win an other title. It will be a fun season to watch in all levels of professional roadracing!!!!!!

Mladin is obviously a good rider, having made it as far as he has, but he does more whining than an 19 year old mistress who is pregnant.
