What makes you think it needs a clutch? Is it the plates and springs, or the basket?

That's a great deal if you only need friction plates and steels.

Expect to pay somewhere around $10 for each friction plate and steel. I'm not sure how many you have so you will have to look into it.

Can we turn the gauges blue on this one?

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

Or the basket or deeper into the transmission- that would be my concern.

You should be able to get the rear wheel off the ground (I think you could still get a center stand for the 92 CBR's - might be there), or use a rear wheel stand, click the bike into each gear and one person rolls the rear wheel while you hold onto the clutch basket or clutch center and let it slide in your hand to see if there is anything majorly wrong with the tranny.

    HMmmmm

The spindle piece? its only like 6 inches long. it hooks into the center/front of the basket via a little loover(spelling). That piece should slide right out of the crankcase cover once you pull it off. I think you turn it counterclockwise, once you have all the bolts off the cover, pops the cover off. I dont see how that piece could of fudged everything up???unless some how a chunk of it flew into the basket i guess. Like everyone else said, pull it apart and check out the steels, friction, and basket. to start. Im kinda curious how this guy mananged to break the little arm with the return spring.???? Good luck dude

water? oh boy! how long has it been in there? you need to get oil through that system immediatly and keep changing it. go to wal mart and get a couple gallons of cheap ass car oil and start running it through the system. run it let it warm up and drain it. repeat several times.

tires are in the for sale section. the rear is a 160

That's one of the parts I was afraid was messed up... Check E-bay and some of the salvage yards (ads ussually in the back of cycle world, etc). Get the inner carrier and the bearings as well.

Did you find all the pieces? - go through that motor with a fine tooth comb. Shards of aluminum don't mix well with crankshafts and transmissions...

it's a very popular motor in shifter carts, you should be able to find a forum based on the 600 honda motors... with classifieds.

If I were you, I'd pick up an entire spare motor, running or not for a couple hundred bucks just to have
