Well, took the 696 for a spin today. Utterly awesome, really liked it for what I want. Talk to the salesman on the numbers, we can buy the demo model... in february, for 9200 dollars. FUUUUUCK that.
Why cant I just buy a damn bike for MSRP and have it shipped in the crate? I hate dealers, no wonder theyre all going out of business.

WTF?! He got that bike on discount... and he wants MORE than MSRP for it? Is that $9200 out the door, or before he piled on tax/title/doc/setup/other padding?
Out the door. But still, I'm not paying setup and freight (which he explicitly told us is in the price) for a demo model.
