Motivated today...

Left the house at 7:15 this morning...

Stopped in Manchester for 8AM to meet up with one other guy on a VFR.

Super cruise to Lincoln, NH by 10 AM..

He ends up turning around at this point due to rain. I go over the Kanc and halfway over it gets nice again.

Go into Conway, took Hurricane Mtn. over to 113, went up to Gilead, hopped on two, go over to Sunday River, Bethel, etc..

Then I went about halfway over to Bangor on Rt. 2 and then took 27 down past the Belgrade lakes and picked up the highway in Augusta and blasted home.

Just got home at like 5:45 - 477 miles. I must ride more of Maine! Some of the places I went were absolutely deserted fun roads. Like ride for 20 miles without seeing a single building!

Awesome riding, roads aren't particularly twistie, and you take your chance exploring, roads that you think of as not so fun cause of broken pavement are great next year after they have been paved. cross traffic is nil.

I like riding in western Maine, in the Rangeley Lakes area, sometimes I head up thru Eustsis across the frontier and back thru Jackman

I think the drinking thing is a Bachelor party. If so you may be up for a little bit more than your bargained for. But we are planning a ride on the 26th.

i dont know anything about any bachelor party, i am doing a pub crawl in Boston with my cuz and some other friends.
