Crazy Rossi....2 mos ago he got a compound fracture....and today he is racing....I call that stupid....hyperbaric or not, if he goes down again, he could lose more..

Lots of theories were kicked around in another thread a few months ago. Nothing concrete seemed to come out of the speculation.

I happened to watch a GP race right after Stoner adopted it from Rossi. And from what the announcers were saying, it puts/requires more pressure on the tank from the outside leg, thus helping to set the bike up better prior to tipping it in...its gotta be more of a mental or 'feel' thing, but at that level of racing, something like getting 'better feel' while going into a corner can make all the difference.

However, we also saw today with Divisioso that the leg out under hard braking makes the bike quite unstable.

I agree. Rossi did start that like 2 seasons ago. Then you saw Stoner doing it, then Pedrosa.

Not this past weekend but the Sunday before, I was at Kens watching moto gp and Rossi was already back out racing. The guy was hobling out to his bike on crutches. Rossi is the epitome if moto racing crazy imo.

I have met Pedrossa a couple of times at Laguna. He is an A$$ and rude to the fans. He just dosent get it that the fans he makes drives his paycheck. I was at Laguna this weekend. When he crashed (I dont want him do get hurt) But there was many cheers from the stands when it happened.
