Coming from the Boston area, I couldn't believe I hadn't been up to the White Mountains. I took a couple of days off and headed up for some riding and camping. Thought you guys would appreciate the pictures: http://imgur.com/a/95CDL
Nothing beats getting away and heading up north to camp!
Awesome, good for you! Thanks for sharing.
Great pictures. The White Mtns are a great travel destination.

Wanna go to Northern VT and do the same thing? I wanna hit 'the gaps'..
My Strom Adventure is 8-2 in Northpole resorts about 50 Adventure bikes, I love VT but for little street roads the DACKS are better
The calculus of hate
It is not that I should win it is that you should lose
It is not that I succeed it is that you fail
It is not that I should live it is that you should die
I can't do 8/2. Previous engagement.
Maybe the OP can though.
I also can't do the 2nd. I'll plan on attending the year after if it's still on though, looks like a lot of fun.
Let me know when you guys head up this way. I'd be happy to play tour guide.
I'll warn you though, the gaps aren't in very good shape at the moment. The Brandon and Middlebury Gaps aren't too bad, just bumpy in some spots, but the Appalachian Gap is downright dangerous if you're not careful. Big frost heaves on corner entry, and some nasty cracks in the pavement that have opened up wide enough to swallow a front wheel. Still, there are a lot of other good roads up this way, and plenty of great stuff in the Adirondacks.
