Am I the only one who thought it was pretty much unwatchable on fox? Like an hour of commercials and bs with the occasional race highlight thrown in. They need to leave the race coverage to speed network.

    it seemed pretty stupid

"so the reason they are leaned so far over on the motorcycles is so they can carry their speed threw the corners, if they tried to go threw the turn sitting upright they would not make it" really???? thanks john madden

"their going threw a double apex corner, so basically its two corners in one" oh yeah? is that why its called a DOUBLE APEX

It was a dull race but the video, on Fox High Def, seemed WAY better to me than the Speed video...which generally sucks. The announcers are always secondary to me. The camera work, (which I thought was good), and the video quality are what I look for. And even though Foxs 'high def' is the worst in the business, it was still way better than Speeds non-hi-def.

They seemed to be trying to tailor the coverage for people who know NOTHING about MC racing. I guess it was kind of like one of the original Britney Spears videos, good to watch on mute.

hey national coverage is good for the sport no matter what - I'm happy it was on FOX - the race itself was probably one of the most boring races I have seen a long time- very few passes xxxxxxxxxx... Nothing FOX can do for that

You know what sucks even more than all the commercials??

When you DVR the race, then get all ready to watch it with some pretzels and beer and then when you hit play you are presented with not MotoGP, but the 5 o'clock news instead. That's correct; my Fox affiliate decide not to air the race but to show the 5 o'clock news. Which, by the way, is the same fucking thing as the 6 o'clock news. This coming, not more than 28 hours after I sat down to watch the Red Sox game and found instead, the Dodgers game. Oh, and during that Saturday Dodgers game, Fox must have shown at least 10 promos of the upcoming MotoGP race, which they never subsequently aired. Plus, there were severe thunderstorms all afternoon both days.

    Fox sucks.

    My ass is still chapped.

    Subj: Programming Snafu?

I am very disappointed with WSVN's recent programming decision on Sunday, July 21st. I have been watching Fox new religiously for years (on Fox news Boston until I recently moved to South Florida.) I enjoy the anchors as well as the up to the minute news coverage that they provide. However, after seeing last Sunday's 5 o'clock news I will no longer be making Fox news a part of my nightly routine. I have also urged many of my friends, family and colleagues to boycott your news program as well. It wasn't the content of your news program that angered me that Sunday afternoon. As a matter of fact, I didn't listen to more than a minute of the program before I angrily reached for my remote. You see, I am an avid motorcycle rider and motorcycle racing fan. I was very excited to learn that Fox would be airing the MotoGP race live from Laguna Seca this year. It appeared to me that Fox was very excited for that opportunity as well; judging by the countless commercials aired in the days leading up to the race. I structured my entire weekend plans around watching the race on Fox. So you can imagine how shocked and angered I was when I tuned in at 5 o'clock expecting to hear the roar of motorcycle engines, only to be greeted by your news team. Don't get me wrong, I love(d) your news team dearly, but not nearly as much as I love my weekends and what they represent. In my opinion, the events of that afternoon and your programming decision are inexcusable and won't soon be forgotten by MotoGP fans like myself. I have yet to tune in to Fox again and I won't be watching Fox news or any other Fox programming due to the bad taste that WSVN has left in my mouth. I hope in the future you won't take your programming decisions so lightly, and I also hope that Fox is never given the honor to air another MotoGP race. (I've heard from people in other markets that the coverage was sub par anyway.) Please forward this email to anyone who may have been involved in the decision not to air Sunday's race. Perhaps at least one person will be able to provide some logical answer that would make me reconsider my decision to boycott WSVN.

    Regards,
