I put in a request for tickets when it was first announced (normal, run of the mill seats). Here is hoping I have a road trip to take. Nova Scotia/Cabot trail this year, Indy for the GP next. Nice!

Damn...nice. I ordered tickets about 3 weeks ago. I'm unclear though about how and when tickets are printed. I sent in the application but there seems to be little or no information on when I find out if I'll get tickets, and if so, when. Does anyone have more info on that?

I was there a few weeks ago scoping the venue and doing laps of the track (in a car). It's going to rule.

I did a quick check of the rates just for the hotel that VivaDucati is offering up. I think his deal, including great access tickets and entrance to Ducati Island is a good deal. That's why I jumped all over it!
