So my problem is that it is getting cold here in the north east and now my helmet lets to much cold air in. I have a HJC cl-15 that didn't get enough air flow in the summer so I DRILLED A FEW HOLES IN IT to let some air in just like those fancy $500 helmets (don't worry I only drilled them out to 1/8th inch because I know if they are to big it will compromise the structure of the helmet and thats why the big name companies don't do it either) So my question was if I used duct tape to cover the holes will the adhesive from the tape deteriorate the shell or will it be ok? I'm worried that the polycarbonate composite shell might not be as tolerant as a fiberglass shell.
Thanks for any advice :cheers and ride safe
