MotoGP Unlimited now available on Amazon Prime

MotoGP's answer to F1's hugely popular "Drive to Survive" (on Netflix) launched today on Amazon Prime Video.

The launch has, uh, not gone so well. The U.S. version seems to have an issue where the 1st episode is only a 2min trailer, whereas for the rest of the world it's a full episode. I'm sure they'll fix this soon.

English-speaking versions also have dubbed every foreign conversation with British voice actors, which is unbelievably bad. Hearing French and Spanish and Italian riders and team staff speak like they're a bunch of Pommy cunts is horrendous. Amazon UK has already committed to finding a way to turn off the dubbing but no idea about the U.S.

Thanks for the update, just watched episode 1. I enjoyed it. I thought the producers did a good job of humanizing MM93 at the end too.

I had read that the series is intended to hook the new fans, and wouldn’t necessarily appeal to long time fans, as well as compete with the similar F1 series (lol on that, bike racing will always be the “poor mans sport” compared to 4 wheels). It would be interesting to hear what new or non-fans of MotoGP think of the show.
