$110per year just for my bike here in NH. That is basic insurance with the safety course and motorcycle club discount included. 10dollars of that is for roadside assistance.

    I have progressive.

I feel like we must be comparing apples and oranges here.

WTF are you guys riding? If you're 20-something and paying $110/yr for a brand new panigale, I'm switching today. If you're 50-something and paying that for liability on a 15 y/o 250cc dual sport.. meh.

    Most impressive, then.

Oh, wait, I'm with progressive too.. I'm older, similar record, ride a cheaper, less sporty bike, live in an arguably lower crime area ... and they charge me nearly 2x.

    Wild.

Don't forget discounts. My agent found discounts I never even heard of. Also helps to be with the same agency for the past 15 years and flirting with the ladies doesn't hurt either.

I'm 25, living in the Nashua area and I'm insuring a 2000 CBR 600, I paid for the entire year all at once and got a further discount. I have a clean record for the last 5years.

24, 96' CBR900RR that I picked up yesterday. First bike for me... Liability $211 for the year. Haven't had a ticket since I was 17 and that was back in WA. Never been in an accident.

I have Progressive and it seems like a good company. One claim I had with them was handled pretty well, customer service was good as well. Obviously any comments on my premiums cost are useless, because so much depends on the location, age, and so on...

What type of coverages do you have?

I always used to carry full, but looking to downgrade a bit to offset the cost of the multi.

Buy more expensive bike, cut back on coverage?!?

Its your call, but me thinks you are doing it wrong.

My agent upsold me to full coverage on the bike because the price diff was so small. I can't remember what it was, but I remember thinking "yeah, what the hell, why not". Obviously YMMV.

Not from full to nothing, but thinking of reducing BI a bit since I have really good health insurance.

$486 for full coverage for a 2002 RC51. Full coverage thats bumped up further with increased coverages.

With Commerce. No accidents. 1 ticket last year in NH but I dont think NH reported to MA. 28 yr old, less than 1 year with motorcycle license.
