Motorcycle license road test ? What does it contain ?

My bad, I though that was what you were refering to, I didn't go back and check, I took my road test on a FZR600, I remember it was a pain, until the trooper told be to put it in 2nd, and feather the clutch a little, that made it much easier, sport bikes are not the ideal road test bike.. Thats why the course is so much better those little honda 250 (I think thats what there using) are so much esier to learn things on..

I took the MSF with the nice little 250 they supply for you. Easy as cake. If you know how to handle the bike at low speeds you'll be fine.

My uncle passed it on his Harley Dyna Wide glide. He said that the cop made him go lock to lock on the figure 8s. I have no idea how he did it but I'd imagine it's somewhat less svelte than the RC.

The tests are relatively easy. They're really easy if you find a friend that has a small dual purpose bike - there is nothing that says you need to take the test on your own bike. I took mine on a Yamaha DT-100 - I also ended up lending it to some of the guys that showed up with Interceptors and Ninjas.

I practice some 8's last night, its pretty easy with some practice, I can do it about lock to lock. I wish I had tried it before the test, but I really didnt think it was going to be that tight. I had never tried to do a lock to lock, slow speed figure 8 before without putting my foot down, suprisingly. Whats the box, 60' x 60'? I did it in a 40x50 ish box for practice so that it will actually be easier the next time I give it a shot.

I can do it on my Ducati 999 in a 24X50 box (I have to be going fast and lean it though), so I should hope you can do it in a 40X50 box LOL.
