    Motorcycle shippers?

I'm looking @ a bike in Iowa and wondering what one should pay to have the bike shipped to MA? The one quote I have is just under $600, I'm not sure if that's high or not.

Can anyone recommend a shipping service.

    Re: Motorcycle shippers?

Sounds about right. I used Federal last year to get a bike from CA to MA
http://www.funtransport.com/. It arrived undamaged. The only problem was that they were off on the delivery time, I think the Labor day holiday threw off their estimates, so it was about 3 days late, not a big problem. They have a claim system for damage and for late delivery.

    Re: Motorcycle shippers?

Could it be broken down, boxed/wrapped, and UPSd? You probably already thought of that and rejected it as a terrible idea.

Does FedEx pickup @ residential areas? The bike is being shipped to me, not sure if the seller is willing to crate or drop it off anywhere.
